A Look Inside NewEgg
I have been buying things from NewEgg since they were a small web retailer back in 2001. Now they are a retailing giant, but in my opinion, they stil offer the best service around.I was reading Slashdot today, and I saw this article, which is a tour of one of NewEgg's warehouses. It's amazing how tightly they have their operation down.
What's really behind a Steve Jobs Keynote
I was reading the White African blog, and I found a link to this great cartoon there, about what is really going on at a Steve Jobs keynote. The part about the Reality Distortion Field is the most clever, I think!
Newsvine!
I recently discovered a great website called Newsvine! What's cool about it is that the stories on it are submitted and voted for by users, and the most popular ones are promoted to the front page. It is like digg, but it features not only tech stories, but all kinds of news. Another great thing about it is that a user can 'seed' news stories onto the site, or write his own columns, and the user makes all of the adsense money generated from the column.
